This is Geoff Repella, president of the Byrd Cookie Company here in Savannah, GA, and his two kids.
They were a pleasure to work with and they make great tasting cookies.

Johnnie B jumped out at me in a devil costume while I was walking out of my apartment.
After I caught my breath (after chasing him down the hallway),
I ran inside and grabbed my camera for a couple quick shots..
more for my memories than anything else.



Soon I gotta stop stealing bandwidth from facebook. It's really easy to just upload shots there,
but as you can see above, the compression they run on it kills the quality.
It looks so splotchy. On the other hand, the images are a lot smaller and faster loading.

Would you rather have faster loading images or a tiny bit more quality?

Here is the finished 'clean' version of this shot. I try to keep changes pretty subtle. Sorry if the comparison stuff is boring some of you, I won't do it again. ;)
Hopefully this weekend I'll actually have some time to work on the rest of the images from this shoot.
I shot four rolls and you've only seen two shots from it.

For those of you quality nutjobs, this is what the film scan looks like at 100% with no enlarging.

You're getting a bit of a behind the scenes view here. If all goes as I plan,

My friend Coley moved up to Brooklyn a few days ago, so we took some photos before he left.
This is a crappy flatbed scan of one of him. I'll be posting the rest in this blog at some point (I scanned the film for many)
